AIR HOCKEY, POOL & ARCADE: THE PLAY ZONE RANKED

Not everyone who walks into Arena53 is here for the karts. The Play Zone is a standalone section of the venue with four activities, each priced and run independently of the karting track. Here's an honest breakdown of each one, so you know what to expect.

#1 — AIR HOCKEY ₹199 / GAME

Air Hockey is the surprise hit of the Play Zone. It's fast, genuinely competitive, and needs zero prior skill to be immediately fun — which is why it works for everyone from first-timers to regulars who come back specifically for this.

At ₹199 per game, it's also the most accessible activity in the venue. The table at Arena53 is full-size and in good condition — the airflow is consistent, which matters more than you'd think for a fair game.

It works best as a quick battle between two people with a clear stake on the line. Challenge a friend after your kart session and suddenly you have a proper grudge match on your hands.

Best for: Quick competitive games, groups waiting for the karting track, kids, anyone who's never played before.

#2 — POOL TABLE ₹250 / 30 MIN

The Pool Table at Arena53 runs on professional-grade felt and is a proper, full-size table. At ₹250 for 30 minutes or ₹400 for a full hour, it's one of the better-value pool options in north Bangalore — most standalone billiards parlours charge similar rates but without the surrounding venue.

Pool works best as a group activity where people rotate in and out. Two people play, others watch and talk, and the table acts as a natural gathering point. It's notably lower-energy than karting, which makes it ideal as a cool-down activity after a few sessions on the track.

If you're visiting with a group of 4–8, booking the table for an hour and running a mini-tournament tends to be a highlight of the visit.

#3 — ARCADE GAMES COMING SOON

Arcade games at Arena53 are in the process of being installed — brand-new machines covering racing simulators, shooters, and claw machines. Watch this space. When the arcade launches, it's going to significantly expand what you can do in the Play Zone, especially for families with younger children and groups who want variety beyond karting and table games.

#4 — VR GAMES COMING SOON

VR gaming is also on the roadmap for Arena53. Immersive VR simulators as a companion to the real karting experience is a compelling combination — expect this to be a talked-about addition when it launches.

HOW THE PLAY ZONE FITS INTO YOUR VISIT

The Play Zone is located inside the Arena53 venue, separate from the outdoor karting track. You can access it independently of karting — you don't need to have done a kart session to use it. Most visitors naturally cycle between the track and the Play Zone throughout their visit, using Air Hockey or Pool as a break between kart sessions.

For groups, the Play Zone means that people who don't want to kart (or who are waiting for their turn on the track) always have something to do. It eliminates the dead time that happens at single-activity venues.
